Required columns
Use one row per item with a variant SKU and a positive whole-number quantity. A heading row such as SKU,Quantity is supported. Map the SKU and quantity columns after upload. An optional file price can help comparison, but Shopify B2B pricing remains the source of truth.
Accepted files and limits
The buyer page accepts UTF-8 CSV up to 5 MB and XLSX up to 2 MB, with at most 100 order rows. The merchant Draft path has its own 499-line safety limit. Large lists need separate reviews; changing a limit alone does not guarantee Shopify Cart capacity.
Formula cells and formula-like SKU text are rejected. Save calculated values as plain text before upload. A damaged workbook or invalid encoding must be repaired in a spreadsheet editor and uploaded again.
When Review stops
The error appears next to the selected file or Review action. Check the reported row, quantity and column mapping. A repeated SKU can be combined into one review line; check the resulting quantity before continuing.
The original upload is not retained as a support attachment. If you contact support, send the import ID and a synthetic example with replacement SKUs rather than the real file.
