Getting help with Kaupvik Quick Order.
Where do I get help with Kaupvik Quick Order?
Email support@kaupvik.com. Kaupvik aims to reply within two business days, and messages are read by the people who build the app rather than a separate support desk. Email is the only support route: there is no phone line, chat or ticket portal.
Before you write in
Three checks that resolve most questions.
Check the label on the feature
Demonstrable, In validation and Not in V1.0 mean exactly what they say, and the same labels appear on the product page.
Walk the step you are on
How it works describes what happens at each of the four steps and what Shopify owns at that point.
Read the answer, then write
The resources page and the questions at the bottom of this page cover most of what comes up.
Writing in
What to include in your first email.
- Your store domain, in the myshopify.com form, so the right store is checked.
- What you were doing: the step, the screen and what you clicked.
- What you expected, and what happened instead. One sentence each is enough.
- The import record or draft order reference, if the issue involves one.
- A screenshot if it helps, with customer names, emails and addresses removed.
- Whether it happened once or repeats, and which browser you were using.
Keep customer data out of it. Redact names, email addresses and delivery addresses from screenshots and files before you send them. Support does not need them to answer a question about the workflow.
Security concerns are the one exception to the support route: send those to hello@kaupvik.com with the subject "Security".
Scope of support
What support does not cover yet.
- In validation
The buyer self-serve cart and checkout path
Still in validation. A buyer cannot review a list and add it to a Shopify cart through Kaupvik yet, and the entry point is not published until that passes end-to-end testing.
- Not in V1.0
Purchase orders sent as PDF or image files
Reading a scanned or PDF purchase order is out of scope for the first version. Paste or upload the lines as CSV or XLSX instead.
- Not in V1.0
Writing back to an ERP or accounting system
Kaupvik does not push data into an ERP, accounting package or external system. The output is a Shopify draft order.
- Not in V1.0
Importing historical, already-completed orders
Migrating past orders into Shopify is not part of the first release. The workflow starts from a new list.
The product page lists the full out-of-scope set for the first release, including buyer approval chains, credit-limit enforcement and checkout rule engines.
Before you install
What needs to be in place before Quick Order helps.
A Shopify store
Quick Order installs as a Shopify app. The merchant team uses it inside Shopify Admin; buyers reach it from the merchant's own customer accounts.
Shopify B2B setup for the company-location path
Company, company location and purchasing contact come from Shopify's B2B features. Accurate location pricing depends on that configuration being in place.
Staff permissions for draft orders
A staff member creating a draft order needs the Shopify permission to manage draft orders. Kaupvik does not grant permissions Shopify has not granted.
A list to work from
Paste, CSV or XLSX with a SKU column and a quantity column. Extra columns are allowed and can be ignored.
Nothing is installed from this site. The app is pre-release and no public Shopify App Store listing exists yet, so the install path is still closed.
Self-service
Answers that do not need an email.
Kaupvik Quick Order
What the app does, what it leaves out, and how the two output paths differ.
How it works
Import, column mapping, review, then the Shopify object, with what Shopify owns at each step.
Resources
The index of everything published: sample lists, status notes and data handling.
Questions merchants ask
Availability, scope and reaching the team.
How do I reach the team?
Email hello@kaupvik.com for anything general and support@kaupvik.com for product help. Both mailboxes are read by the people building the product.
Can my customers place these orders themselves yet?
Not yet. The buyer path — signing in to your customer accounts, reviewing a list and adding the reviewed lines to a Shopify cart — is marked In validation on this site. It is published only after the customer-account page hands off a correctly identified B2B cart end to end.
The merchant team workflow is the part that is built and demonstrable today.
What is deliberately not in the first version?
Reading purchase orders from PDF or images, automatic email order intake, ERP write-back, variant-matrix builders, checkout rule engines, buyer approval chains, credit-limit enforcement and migration of historical completed orders are all out of scope for the first release.
They are listed openly so merchants can plan around them instead of discovering a gap after installing.
Is Kaupvik Quick Order available in the Shopify App Store?
Not yet. The app is pre-release: the merchant team workflow is built and demonstrable in a development store, and this site invites merchants to contact Kaupvik about early access.
Next step
A specific question is always welcome.
Pre-release: the App Store destination is reserved, but the listing is not public yet. The link may be unavailable until Shopify publishes it.
