Check an uncertain Draft Order

Reconcile interrupted Draft creation before retrying so the same order is not created twice.

Read the recorded state

Open Imports in the Kaupvik Admin app. A created record includes its Shopify Draft link. A review record has not created a Draft. Processing and unknown mean the outcome needs checking.

For an unknown outcome

  1. Keep the import ID and do not start a fresh import with the same list yet.
  2. Use the record's reconciliation action, then search Shopify Draft Orders for the Kaupvik import ID or source tag.
  3. If the Draft exists, continue with that Draft in Shopify. If no matching Draft can be confirmed, contact support with the import ID.

Kaupvik uses the import ID as an idempotency key. Network interruption can hide a successful Shopify response, so an automatic retry without checking would risk a duplicate Draft. A support agent must check the recorded state before recommending another attempt.
